During the month of December 2003, +FROST made us all stop and take a good look at the potential of Edmonton’s designers and fabricators. We were very excited to host guest artists and designers such as: Catherine Burgess, Jason Muirhead, George Heagle, JIN Design and Marie-Lou Gingras. The success of *FROST has inspired IDEA to push further in exhibiting, promoting awareness, and finding Edmonton’s voice in International Design. Its next aptly labeled *THAW exhibit is proposed to begin in June 2004 as part of “The Works International Art and Design Festival”. *THAW- Edmonton Contemporary Furniture Exhibit will also be open to guest artists and designers and will be juried by IDEA.
